Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus has asked for support from the Gooners as he is being belittled by trolls who have been criticising his performances without considering the details.

The 27-year-old striker stunned the world with a hat-trick in a 3-2 Carabao Cup quarter-final win over Crystal Palace in midweek. Normally, scoring just one goal is consider unusual, but to score three in a single match is something that makes you wonder if it was real or just a dream.

Because the last time he score at least 3 goals in a single game was when he was at Man City in April 2022 (score 4 goals).

From admiration, the Brazilian striker was ridicule, with some calling him a ‘nepotist’ and others saying he begged head coach Mikel Arteta for a chance at his office, turning into a hilarious meme on social media, leaving the father-of-two furious and having to respond to him in a satisfying manner.

“I don’t walk up to Arteta’s office door and say ‘Boss, I want to play’,” he told The Ufabet Football.

“People joke with me that you only score once in 20 games,” but excuse me, why didn’t you tell me that 20 games were only 5 minutes or 10 minutes each?”

“Even if I score 10 goals, it’s still inferior. If I come back, I have to score 20 goals.”

Jesus’ four goals and one assist this season came in the Carabao Cup, with another in the Champions League, while his latest Premier League goal is almost a year away from that mark, as the last time was on January 30.

Hoping to continue the heat ยูฟ่าเบท in the away game against Palace at Selhurst Park.
