Navy Day 2019: Everything to know this 4th December

Navy Day 2019: Indian Navy Day is vastly celebrated in India on 4th December of every year. This day is a proud dream for every Indian who lives in a loving country.

Indian Prime Minister and the  Defence Minister thanks the Indian Navy by tweeting. The spokesperson of Navy thanks all staff and officers by tweeting on this beautiful day.

History of Navy Day:

On this occasion, the Navy official celebrates the whole day by their lovely way to remember who sacrifices their lives for the country and providing about their achievements.

The officials pay homage to The Martyrs by remembering them. At this time in 1971 Indian Navy destroyed the whole Pakistan’s Naval base of operation Karachi.

The Indian Navy ruins Pakistan’s 4 massive vessels by anti-ship Missiles and killed approximately 500  Navy officers, called Operation Trident. This Operation doesn’t cost India any suffers. INS Nipat, INS Nirghat, INS Veer played a massive role in this regarding operation.

The Indian navy fleet crossed the Pakistani borderline of 100 km at night. Many Indian Navy officers had been the reward and honored by the government.  

The Indian Navy is the Marine branch of the Indian Army. The Indian Navy provides so many works for the Government such as watch out the waterline borders, rescuing people in natural disasters, Coastguards, etc.
