Karnataka TET exam postponed; new date to be announced later

NEW DELHI: The Karnataka government has decided to postpone the Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (KARTET), confirmed Karnataka Education Minister S. Suresh Kumar.

Earlier, Karnataka TET exam was scheduled to be held on April 11, 2020, which has now been postponed. The new date will be announced later.

“The teacher eligibility test scheduled on April 11 has been postponed due to lockdown. Fresh date will be announced later.” said S. Suresh Kumar in his tweet.

The online application process for Karnataka TET commenced on January 25, 2020. The last date to submit online applications for KARTET was February 25, 2020.

Candidates who have applied for Karnataka TET are advised to visit the official website — schooleducation.kar.nic.in — regularly to get the latest updates on the exam.
